Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead engineering, energy projects across Canada. You will manage technical personnel, coordinate disciplines, liaise with clients and third-party consultants, and ensure safe, cost-effective project outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, 10+ years EPCM experience, and is able to travel. Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited university with over 10 years of demonstrated experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA would be considered an asset.
• Previous EPCM experience is required.
• Knowledge of process and instrumentation diagrams, equipment and piping sizing; HAZOPs.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and safety regulations; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical personnel through the execution of multiple client projects.
• Coordinate planning, requirements and responsibilities between disciplines.
• Liaise between clients, support staff and third party consultants and contractors.
• Provide engineering services to achieve safe, cost‑effective outcomes.
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, scheduling and controls.
• Oversee development of P&IDs, PFDs and other drawings and deliverables.
• Support development of engineering standards and provide leadership to staff.
