A technology company in Alberta is seeking an experienced professional to support Sales with technical expertise in engineering probe systems. The role involves customer interaction, technical support, and testing solutions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Opportunities to travel domestically and internationally are available.
Partner with Sales to win business opportunities - Assists the Sales staff in assessing potential application of company's engineering probe systems products and engineering probes products/accessories to meet customers' needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customers' applications/testing solutions.
Partner with Sales to provide technical expertise to customers through sales presentations, product demonstrations of company's engineering probe systems products and engineering probes products/accessories.
Together with Sales/Product Marketing team, support Trade Shows to demonstrate company’s products’ capabilities.
Build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for customers.
Provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
Post‑Sales Technical Support
Supports customers' buy‑off of company's products – ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications.
Provide technical support to customers through testing solution delivery (installation), application training (use and maintenance of company's products).
Provide technical support to customers in terms of customer issue support/reporting, and internal escalation summary preparation.
Co‑work with different functional teams to solve customer issues and provide suitable testing solutions to customers.
Others
Monitor and report customers' testing requirement/technical trend and market information.
Support international customer support when required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years’ knowledge of high‑speed, RF/mmWave, electro‑optic products testing (wafer level or die level) and characterization techniques for S-Parameter, RF calibration methods and Optical measurements.
Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on experience with commercially available engineering probers (manual/semi‑automated/fully automated) and analytical/engineering probes.
Hands‑on experience with Automated Test Equipment (Advantest/Teradyne) and production probers (TEL/Accretech/OPUS) and probe cards will be an advantage.
