The Senior Energy Systems Engineer role is Fortescue’s subject‑matter expert responsible for designing, modelling, analysing and optimising the integrated renewable power infrastructure required to decarbonise the entirety of Fortescue’s Pilbara “pit to port” mining value chain.
This includes the optimal design and operational strategies for “Pilbara‑wide” power generation, storage & transmission infrastructure as well as each individual mine‑site’s power distribution network that will supply energy to the electrified mining fleet.
