What is the opportunity?

The Endpoint Security Integration team supports multiple critical enterprise-wide security applications. We are looking for a Senior Endpoint Security Specialist to join our team in helping protect RBC. In this role you will provide in-depth technical expertise, hands‑on configuration to security technology, and an ownership mindset for applications in the Endpoint Threat Integration team within RBC’s global Cyber Security environment. The Senior Endpoint Security Specialist will partner across various teams and with assigned business line(s) to assess business, technical, and system needs in order to maintain RBC security posture.

What will you do?
  • Act as a technical product lead for Endpoint Security technology ensuring we are providing global, industry‑leading protection to RBC on‑premise and in the cloud
  • Work hands‑on to ensure products are operating with excellence by maintaining product health, stability, technology currency, audit readiness, security policies and procedures, and more
  • Drive and support both project work and operational work to expand, uplift, and maintain our security capabilities
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms such as Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Business Application, and Risk teams, to build influence and drive impact with key partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
  • Keep security compliance as well as regulatory and audit readiness top of mind to ensure accountability and best‑in‑industry delivery
  • Continuously identify and respond to the changing business and security threat landscape, assessing and responding to risks
  • Provide after hours support, on a rotational on‑call basis
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
  • 3+ years of experience, with strong knowledge and the ability to support multiple Endpoint Security applications (Imperva DAM, Illumio, etc.) on Windows, Linux, AIX, and MacOS platforms as well as Cloud endpoints
  • Experience managing large scale deployments of infrastructure and agents across an enterprise
  • Endpoint security expertise and technology management in the following areas:
    • Database activity monitoring, zero trust, workload segmentation, host‑based firewalls, vulnerability management, network configuration, infrastructure stability, etc.
  • Operational excellence - strong written and spoken communication, technical documentation, cleanliness configuration and policy management
  • Ownership mindset to act as a leader in endpoint security advancement and operational efficacy
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess issues within multiple technologies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work closely with peers and business partners, and technical documentation writing skills
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities across several assignments while prioritizing effectively
  • Must provide occasional support outside of regular business hours (rotational on call schedule)
Nice‑to‑have
  • Certifications in information security (eg. CISSP, CCSP, CEH, ITIL)
