Job summary

The role is hybrid, based in Canada with international travel, and requires extensive experience in embedded software, Agile, cloud practices, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of management experience in a software development environment, preferably embedded software.
• Strong background in embedded software development and Agile methodologies.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and managing software teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring best software development practices.
• Develop and present software development status reports highlighting progress and risks.
• Strategize and implement risk mitigation for successful software outcomes.
• Uphold the company's culture, values, and standards within the team.
