Job summary

the company is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the Reliability Engineering team. You will own the lifecycle of electrical reliability fixes for trapped-ion quantum computers, identifying bottlenecks and standardizing fixes for future builds.

In this role you will work with Operations, Science, Manufacturing, and Engineering to drive upgrades, reduce downtime, and improve system health while documenting changes for long-term reference.

Qualifications

• Analogue and mixed-signal electronics design and debugging.
• Experience with op-amps, low-noise amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC modules.
• Familiarity with Altium design control and documentation.
• Ability to diagnose power supplies and analogue circuits in hardware.
• Stakeholder engagement across Operations, Science and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Triage, root cause, and prioritize electrical issues on live systems.
• Design, prototype, build, and test electrical fixes from concept to permanent integration.
• Lead fleet-wide reliability upgrades and standardize control hardware.
• Coordinate deployment of upgrades onto live systems with Operations/Science.
• Document fixes for engineering change control and baseline updates.
