Descrição da oferta de emprego

Application close date:

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role is part of Blue National Security (BNS), where our focus is the design, development, and delivery of launch and spacecraft systems for national security missions. Through Blue Ring, our all-in-one, high-powered hybrid solar-electric and chemical-propelled spacecraft, we provide unmatched mission maneuverability, versatility, and capacity at dramatically lower-profile costs.

The Blue National Security team is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer with an emphasis on communications payload integration. This role is to provide technical direction for the electrical architecture of our spacecraft and communications payload systems. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team spanning RF, optical communications, command & data handling (C&DH), power, software, and mechanical, along with external suppliers, to define and deliver space electronics solutions. This is a hands‑on role covering design, development, production, and test. You will own electrical interface compatibility, functional allocations, and margins across subsystems and payloads, and you will mentor junior engineers along the way.

Special Mentions

  • Position includes relocation assistance
  • Travel expectations: Occasional travel (up to 25%) to support production and operations

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
