Stantec is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our water and wastewater team in Dartmouth, Canada. You will lead control systems engineering, process control strategy planning, and automation designs for large-scale projects, including PLC/SCADA and DCS deployments.
You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support construction, commissioning, and start-up activities across North America.

Are you ready to join our Instrumentation and Controls team?
A successful applicant will work with a multidisciplinary group of engineers and designers providing technical services to public and private-sector clients. Primary duties will include control systems engineering, process control strategy planning, automation designs, construction support services, and planning studies with detailed analyses. These designs will be related to water and wastewater treatment plants and related facilities. Experience with equipment selections, equipment and communication network layouts, and process control design coordination with other engineering disciplines is required. Candidates should be at ease with core aspects of PLC, HMI and SCADA system planning, design, programming, and upgrades.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
