Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering to lead design, development and field support activities across our Canada operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, at least four years of related experience, and a P.Eng. You will apply advanced software tools, collaborate in a team, and maintain safety and quality standards while solving complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Registered Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.).
• Strong communication to convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
• Demonstrates informal leadership characteristics.
• Shows self-checking and a questioning attitude.
• Advanced proficiency with software tools and programming languages as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-routine and varied engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, testing and specifications.
• Receives minimal supervision on assignments and solutions.
• Ensures compliance with engineering standards.
• Evaluates and applies technical methods with judgement.
• Develops knowledge of processes and customers.
• Works on special projects as directed.
• Finds improved solutions to support product life cycle and technology replacement.
• Supports project management and customer requests to increase opportunities.
