Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering to lead design, development and field support activities across our Canada operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, at least four years of related experience, and a P.Eng. You will apply advanced software tools, collaborate in a team, and maintain safety and quality standards while solving complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Registered Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.).
Strong communication to convey detailed technical data.
Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
Demonstrates informal leadership characteristics.
Shows self-checking and a questioning attitude.
Advanced proficiency with software tools and programming languages as required.

Responsibilities

Performs non-routine and varied engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, testing and specifications.
Receives minimal supervision on assignments and solutions.
Ensures compliance with engineering standards.
Evaluates and applies technical methods with judgement.
Develops knowledge of processes and customers.
Works on special projects as directed.
Finds improved solutions to support product life cycle and technology replacement.
Supports project management and customer requests to increase opportunities.
