We are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Design Technologists to join a dynamic EPC firm based in Calgary, Alberta. This firm provides multi-disciplinary engineering solutions across industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, and manufacturing. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and efficiency, the team works on projects of varying complexity and scale, ensuring successful project execution with cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft electrical systems, including MCC replacements, cabling, and motor control upgrades.
  • Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, with CADWorx and SolidWorks proficiency as an asset.
  • Develop 3D models for electrical and control system upgrades, ensuring accuracy and project alignment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Support project execution by working with site personnel and other disciplines while maintaining design documentation and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting within an EPC or industrial environment.
  • Expertise in electrical and controls upgrades, including MCC replacements, cabling, and motor control upgrades.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with SolidWorks and CADWorx experience considered a strong asset.
  • 3D modeling experience is essential for supporting advanced design projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices for electrical design.
