Job summary

Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution Ltd. (NT Power) seeks a detailed, hands-on Superintendent to lead the Midland office team in the construction and maintenance of the electrical distribution system.

You will oversee projects, coordinate with internal departments and contractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all activities. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective communication with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in supervising teams, including coordinating field work.
• Strong communication with internal departments, contractors and customers.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Leads a team to ensure project execution within budget and schedule.
• Ensures compliance with Ontario Reg 22/04 and other regulations.
• Provides guidance, coaching and performance feedback to staff.
