Your key responsibilities
  • Analyze economic and financial data, market trends, and industry reports to design, develop, and construct economic models and tools for government agencies, non‑profits, and corporations.
  • Perform cost‑benefit analyses, economic impact assessments, econometric modeling and forecasting, and policy analysis across various sectors.
  • Support assignments that use econometric and statistical techniques to develop optimization tools, valuation and risk assessment models, quantify economic damages, and assist decision‑making processes in operations, strategic planning, policy design, project finance, M&A, tax, financial reporting, valuations, and litigation matters.
What you are expected to
  • Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams.
  • Identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Actively contribute to report writing and economic modeling.
  • Listen to clients and address their needs.
  • Develop professional relationships with colleagues and clients.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Undergraduate degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field with a solid understanding of micro and macroeconomics, industrial organization, international economics, and econometrics.
  • Prior experience in economic consulting, data analytics, regional economic development, or economic research.
  • Experience performing economic impact assessments, cost‑benefit analysis, economic benchmarking, and policy/program design.
  • Knowledge of basic economic principles and ability to conduct independent research and apply theory to client issues.
  • Awareness of key macroeconomic trends and policy issues and ability to analyze them as needed.
  • Experience working with public data sources and analyzing economic indicators.
  • Ability and flexibility to work with team members to meet deadlines and manage time against budget.
  • Excellent analytical, project‑management, multi‑tasking, communication, organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with STATA, R, Python, and/or MATLAB.
