Job summary

TD in Canada is seeking a skilled professional for the Model Management & Analytics team to support IFRS9 ECL provisioning and regulatory reporting. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, cross-team collaboration, and accurate staging into the expected loss calculator (gCLAS).

You'll work with SAS, SQL or Python to analyze inputs, support audits, and help improve model operations within a fast-paced risk environment in Toronto, with a strong focus on precision and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or CS.
• SAS/SQL/Python hands-on experience (3+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of IFRS and ECL concepts is advantageous.
• Experience with audit/regulatory/SOX reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the regulatory requirements of ECL reporting under IFRS 9.
• Gather requirements and support data migration work related to ECL data staging.
• Staging inputs into the expected loss calculator (gCLAS) accurately and timely.
• Assist the Credit Risk Forecasting and Allowance team with trend information on inputs.
• Ensure model updates and product system changes are captured in the staging process.
• Document assumptions, exclusions and adjustments related to input staging.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory attestations.
