Job summary

EVONIK Vancouver Laboratories is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide facility, design, and process teams within a GMP-regulated CDMO setting. You will drive operational excellence, asset lifecycle management, and capital project delivery to support growth and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong background in chemical/bioprocess engineering, 10+ years in engineering management, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Chemistry or related technical discipline required.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Facility, Design, and Process Engineering teams in a CDMO environment.
• Lead implementation of operational excellence methodologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost.
• Develop and execute strategic asset lifecycle management programs, including maintenance strategies.
• Manage capital investment planning and execution to support growth and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
