Job summary

A health organization is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join the Radiology/Ultrasound team at UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC. This role includes supervision of staff, quality control of technical work, and participation in policy updates. The ideal candidate will have certification from Sonography Canada or ARDMS, with a minimum of four years of related experience, including supervisory skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of four (4) years' recent related experience.
  • One (1) year of supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Training or experience in Adult Echocardiography is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate technical and staffing activities.
  • Oversee quality of technical work performed.
  • Update and standardize policy and procedure manuals.
  • Participate in recruitment and performance management.
  • Perform technical procedures as required.
