Job summary

Global Relay in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Senior DevOps/MLOps engineer to drive reliability and automation across multi-environment deployments, from build to production, with a focus on MLOps and AI workflows.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, and monitoring, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to scalable infrastructure for a data-intensive platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps/MLOps or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong grounding in threading, OOP and CS fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and modern deployment practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive reliability across environments.

Responsibilities

• Automation: develop tools to enhance CI/CD automation and delivery.
• Deployments: deploy services to Kubernetes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Operations: monitor and ensure smooth operation across environments.
• Service reliability: review dashboards and logs to address issues promptly.
