Job summary

ISAAC is seeking an experienced DevOps professional in Canada to lead CI/CD pipeline design, automate deployments, and manage cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security and observability. You will drive automation, governance and incident response across development, testing and production environments.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in DevOps, cloud experience (Azure preferred), and a solid grounding in IaC, monitoring and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, containerization and monitoring.
• Concepts matter more than tools: strong command of IaC, CI/CD, observability, least privilege and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and evolution of CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployments and tests.
• Manage branching strategies, PRs and artifacts.
• Configure and administer CI/CD tools and fix issues.
• Industrialize service deployments to reduce manual steps.
• Manage environments using IaC and containerization.
• Operate data and AI platforms and ensure monitoring.
• Govern cloud infrastructure, cost optimization and policy compliance.
• Integrate security into the development lifecycle and fix vulnerabilities.
• Manage identities, access, and secrets with least privilege.
• Contribute to ISO 27001 compliance evidence.
• Set up service monitoring and alerting.
• Respond to incidents and perform post-incident analyses.
• Document runbooks and plan backups and DR.
