What You’ll Be Doing

We’re hiring an Senior DevOps & Customer Implementation Engineer to strengthen, automate, and scale the cloud infrastructure that powers a high-growth, AI-enabled SaaS platform.

This role sits within the Engineering team and works closely with North American Customer Success and Delivery teams to support customer implementations across SSO, SFTP, and data integrations. You’ll combine deep AWS platform engineering with light customer-facing technical work, owning the systems, tooling, and workflows that enable seamless onboarding for enterprise and strategic customers.

You’ll work extensively across AWS, particularly Cognito, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, and S3, improving authentication, HRIS and data feed integrations, provisioning workflows, and internal tooling — with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and scale.

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
  • Own and improve AWS-based integration infrastructure with a focus on automation, scalability, and reliability
  • Enhance internal tooling for SSO setup, data feed processing, and environment provisioning
  • Improve authentication and provisioning workflows with repeatable, automated solutions
  • Lead improvements to HR data feed integrations, including performance, observability, and maintainability
  • Build secure, automated processes for creating and managing multi-tenant SaaS environments
Customer Implementation Support
  • Partner with Customer Success and Delivery teams to support complex customer integrations
  • Provide expert guidance during onboarding across SSO, SFTP, APIs, and data feeds
  • Improve diagnostics through better logging, monitoring, and observability
  • Contribute to internal documentation and technical playbooks
Automation, Security & Reliability
  • Identify and eliminate manual processes through automation and tooling
  • Build internal CLI tools, scripts, and microservices to accelerate onboarding
  • Strengthen observability with dashboards, alerts, and health checks
  • Maintain infrastructure-as-code templates for identity, networking, and provisioning
  • Ensure authentication and integration pathways follow security best practices
  • Participate in incident reviews and improve platform resilience
What You Must Have
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Cognito, Lambda, IAM, ECS/Fargate, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation)
  • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript for automation and backend services
  • Solid understanding of identity and authentication standards (SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM)
  • Experience with SFTP, file-based integrations, ETL pipelines, or HRIS data ingestion
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures (strong plus)
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, Claude)
  • Experience integrating AI or LLM-powered components into production systems is a plus
Salary/Rate Range

$100,000 – $150,000
