Job summary

Groupe Dynamite Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer for Fleece GARAGE in Montréal. You will shape collections, focus on fabric, color, print and fit, turning trends into bestsellers.

You’ll create head-to-toe outfits that feel fresh, on-brand, and wearable for our customer. Reporting to the Design Director, you’ll partner with Concept, Merchandising, Sourcing and other product teams to move each collection from first sketch to store and digital launch, while maintaining GARAGE aesthetics and

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma, DEC, or bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 7+ years of fashion design experience with strong technical sketching skills.
• Creative designer with strong fashion and commercial sensibility, and knowledge of GARAGE branding.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging fashion trends and translate into concept and product direction for GARAGE.
• Create and communicate design concepts through sketching, digital tools, and AI-assisted exploration.
• Edit and curate the assortment to balance range, newness, and commercial clarity.
• Lead tech design setups with detailed tech sketches, BOMs, and design packages.
• Attend fittings and influence fit, construction, and detail throughout development.
• Collaborate with Design Director, Merchandising, Technical Design, and Sourcing to align with business objectives.
• Communicate ideas clearly in meetings, building alignment across Design, Merchandising, Production, and leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of raw materials and support seasonal fabric sourcing with Materials team.
