Job summary

Wealthsimple, Canada’s leading financial innovator, is expanding its Finance, Brokerage and Market Risk Data Science team. We are building scalable data capabilities to support financial planning, liquidity management and risk assessment for brokerage products.

You will own data marts, craft robust pipelines, and deliver dashboards while partnering with finance, risk, and product to drive business impact. Strong communication and mentorship are essential in this dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering or analytics development experience.
• Experience with data marts, pipelines, and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and financial products (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Own data marts for finance and market risk, optimize performance and quality.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for critical financial reports.
• Build brokerage reporting and monitoring systems with data integrity.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, and product teams on model development.
• Create dashboards to monitor KPIs, profitability, and reporting requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
