Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to shape the future of people-facing and business-facing products. You will apply quantitative modeling, experimentation and algorithms to solve complex engineering challenges at scale, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Product Analytics, Data Engineering and others.

You will build and prototype analysis pipelines, leverage AI to accelerate execution, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data analysis experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong foundation in Statistics, ML, Forecasting or Econometrics.
• Experience with online experimentation and web-scale data.
• Fluent in SQL and Python or R; able to explain complex analyses clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation with product teams.
• Apply scientific methods to product creation and improvement for scale.
• Build and prototype pipelines to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive data-informed decisions.
