Job summary

CAE Inc in Canada is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer with strong hands-on coding in Python and Spark to design scalable data solutions across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using Microsoft Fabric.

You will review code, guide technical decisions, support analysts and data scientists, and collaborate with product teams to advance CAE's data platform and AI initiatives, while applying data governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering experience with Python, Spark, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and medallion architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Experience with DevOps and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data solutions on Microsoft Fabric across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Ingest, transform, and deliver data from diverse sources.
• Review code and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product teams and data scientists.
• Apply data governance, security standards, and monitoring.
