Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Senior Consultant, Data Platform DevOps in Toronto to lead DevOps for a modern data platform. You will drive automation, Terraform IaC, and CI/CD adoption using Azure and Databricks, while collaborating with technology and business partners to advance the platform's reliability.

You’ll mentor teammates, promote best practices, and help evolve the platform architecture in alignment with the technology roadmap. Details on on-site and remote work will be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

5+ years designing and implementing DevOps for data platforms.
Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
Hands-on with Terraform for IaC and Azure services.
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

Lead complex DevOps design activities translating requirements into scalable designs.
Drive platform modernization and reliability across the data platform.
Enhance automation, deployment processes, and infrastructure management.
Partner with technology and business teams to align with the roadmap.
Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration.
