We build, drive and grow world-class strategic partnerships and product integrations with Data Partners to showcase TTD’s impact and ROI. We lead executive-level partner management & relationship building to influence and collaborate with our Data Partners to land the ideal solutions and methodology.

We lead end-to-end data partnerships and products from strategic vision to execution. We deliver by leading and facilitating cross-functional collaboration across the internal executive team, product and lastly, act as a key resource and subject matter expert for our Internal Sales and CS teams as well our clients directly.

You’re passionate about digital advertising, programmatic, and the power (and opportunity) of data on the industry. You will be responsible for initiating and fostering strategic relationships with providers of audience, identity, and measurement solutions, managing everything from opportunity assessment, negotiation, product integration, and creating innovative opportunities that shape how marketers use data to drive campaign decisioning. You enjoy an entrepreneurial, competitive, and rapidly shifting environment, are excited to cross-collaborate with just about every department in the company and have the chops to lead some of the most strategic partnership initiatives in programmatic.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage existing relationships with 3rd party providers of retail, CTV, audience, identity, and measurement data
  • Lead the development of a retail data marketplace in Canada, serving as a strategic consultant to partners on data monetization, governance, and ecosystem integration
  • Work with fellow data partnerships colleagues to identify and negotiate smart, strategic partnership opportunities (based on company initiatives and account team feedback)
  • Drive an optimal relationship structure for partnerships in conjunction with new partners plus Legal, Technical Account Management, Finance, and other stakeholders
  • Support account teams in showcasing the power of data to prospective and existing clients
  • Perform industry research and analysis; remain abreast of trends and partner product/segment enhancements, and educate internal teams on the need-to-know with webinars, client support, and training documentation
  • Represent the company in external engagements, delivering concise, high-impact presentations to clients and stakeholders
  • Assist in monthly financial billing reconciliation & collaborate on billing process enhancements
  • Ensure contractual compliance by staying current with Canadian privacy laws and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage partnership deliverables including regular reports and ad hoc needs
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Solid experience creating and building differentiated relationships with strategic partners
  • Strong understanding of the state of offsite retail data monetization across targeting and measurement
  • Solid experience with the CTV data planning, activation, and measurement in Canada
  • Experience working with data platforms that onboarding first party data in Canada
  • Solid business development experience, and can connect opportunity with revenue
  • Self-motivated problem-solver comfortable wearing multiple and diverse hats
  • Intellectually curious and forward thinking
  • Demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of advertising in French Canada
  • Experience in digital media, preferably ad tech
  • Experience working with account teams and centers of excellence at agency holding companies
  • Experience working with brand marketing teams responsible for national brand marketing
  • Comfort and experience with Excel, Powerpoint, and Tableau as analysis and presentation tools
Compensation and Benefits:

In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
