Job summary

CGL is seeking a senior data engineering professional to join the BI Architecture & Operations team in a hybrid role. You will design and implement data pipelines, data models, and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust analytic solutions.

The position emphasizes data quality, automation, and scalable BI delivery. You will work primarily in English, with knowledge of French considered an asset, and will contribute to enterprise data strategy within a cooperative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6–9 years of data engineering/integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, programming, modeling techniques, data warehouse and data management.
• Experience solving complex problems with analytical judgment and clear recommendations.
• Proficiency with BI environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and build data solutions (data models, data pipelines, APIs and more).
• Autonomously assess data quality and implement automated controls.
• Develop analytic solutions for reporting, metrics, predictive models, and other BI insights.
• Contribute to scalable, secure solution designs with long-term maintainability and performance.
• Communicate findings to a business audience clearly.
