Job summary

Fundserv in Toronto is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and develop database systems, data models and schemas, and to build data pipelines for analytical purposes.

You will work in an Agile team with cross-team collaboration to define requirements and technical specs, develop and optimize SQL/PL-SQL scripts, and support data model improvements, performance, and data integrity. Oracle databases will be installed, configured, and maintained as part of this role.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and track database development activities.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developer database systems, data models and schemas, as well as building data pipelines assembling large, complex data sets for analytical purposes.
In this role, you will…

• Work in an Agile team while collaborating with other teams across product lines to define database requirements and technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures, packages, and functions.
• Support database design, schema changes, and data model improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Starting base salary range: $120,000 - $130,000/year
