Do you have experience supporting the development of enterprise architecture artefacts for submission to the Architecture Review Board for Architecture Gate Point 0 (AGP0) during summer 2025 and AGP1 during fall/winter? Do you have experience supporting MECP in developing their Data Migration strategy/plan? If so, this would be a great opportunity for you!

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Architect/Modeller for a 9-month contract in Toronto.

This is a hybrid role: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data architecture for application development in a complex, distributed environment, including data flow, database location, and access methods.
• Provide a standard business vocabulary, express strategic data requirements, outline high-level integrated designs, and align with enterprise strategy and business architecture.

Qualifications

Must haves:

Data architecture/data modeling skills based on a Conceptual Data Model (CDM), which is technology- and application-independent, supporting tasks such as:

• Continuing data prototyping to validate CDM recommendations
• Developing a fully attributed CDM or Logical Data Model based on approved IT strategy
• Supporting MECP in developing their Data Migration strategy/plan
• Assisting with alpha prototyping and proofs-of-concept
• Supporting the development of enterprise architecture artefacts for submission to the Architecture Review Board for AGP0 in summer 2025 and AGP1 in fall/winter
