A leading staffing agency is seeking an expert Data Architect for a high-impact role overseeing a massive modernization initiative in Edmonton. You will design and implement a secure, scalable Azure Data Management Platform. The successful candidate will have over 8 years of relevant experience and will work primarily remotely with occasional on-site meetings. Are you an expert Data Architect ready to oversee a massive modernization initiative? Our Edmonton client is seeking a visionary architect to lead the design and implementation of their Azure Data Management Platform on an initial 4 month contract. This role involves integrating complex data from diverse enterprise systems (including ServiceNow and geospatial) and building the foundation for advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation using Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory. If you thrive on technical leadership and want to shape a secure, scalable, and future-ready data ecosystem, this is the challenge for you.
The successful candidate will primarily work remotely but must be available for on-site meetings as required. Meetings may involve strategic, analytical, or technical discussions and may include engagement with team members, senior managers, directors, executive directors, or business clients. Meetings may occur up to 3–4 times per fiscal month, but the actual frequency will depend on the specific initiative and will be determined on an on-demand basis. Meetings will take place in Edmonton, Alberta.
