Job summary
S.I. Systems Ltd. seeks a Senior Data Analyst / Product Owner to drive analytics products in a large financial services setting.
You will own analytics delivery, engage stakeholders, prioritize backlogs, and build Power BI dashboards while advancing Azure-based data modernization with enterprise impact. The role blends product ownership, business analysis, and hands-on analytics, offering exposure to risk reporting and modernization programs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in Data Analytics, BI, product ownership, or business analysis roles.
- Advanced Power BI including DAX, data modeling, Power Query, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
- Strong SQL skills working with large and complex datasets and proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
- Hands-on Agile delivery and Product Ownership including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and backlog prioritization.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Product Owner for analytics and reporting products across Risk stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Lead business discovery and requirements gathering sessions to define analytics and reporting needs.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery plans for analytics initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models for reporting requirements.
- Utilize Python to automate data processing, reconciliation, validation, and reporting workflows.
- Support enterprise data modernization initiatives using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and related Azure services.

Join an innovative Risk Strategy, Governance & Enablement Data & Analytic Product team delivering scalable analytics products within a large financial services environment. This role combines product ownership, business analysis, and hands-on analytics delivery to support enterprise risk reporting, automation, and modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will lead analytics product delivery, stakeholder engagement, backlog prioritization, and Power BI reporting solutions while supporting enterprise data modernization efforts using Azure technologies.
