Job Summary

At the Centre for Advanced Analytics, Data Science, and Innovation (CAADSI) of Fraser Health, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our agile team. Reporting to the Director, Analytics, you will develop and maintain innovative solutions to meet the organization’s analytical needs and ensure the technical infrastructure is robust.

Job Duties
  • Lead in developing, evaluating, and reviewing information, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Serve as a senior analytical resource, offering expertise in quality measurement, best practices, and emerging analytics trends.
  • Optimize reporting procedures, explore automation, and ensure analytic products are actionable.
  • Recommend standards for database architecture, define metadata, and set standards for ETL processes.
  • Transfer knowledge among technical staff and ensure effective communication.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand needs and develop solutions through analytical planning.
  • Provide detailed data narratives, forecast trends, and support strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate data exchanges with various agencies.
  • Manage analytics projects, including planning and evaluation.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in decision support, data analysis, and healthcare management.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

This position is based at our Central City office in Surrey, BC, with a hybrid work model (2x/week in office).
