Job summary

A law enforcement agency in Canada is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst 3 to manage information security architecture and governance. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems plus six years of cyber security experience.
  • Diploma in computer science or information systems plus eight years of cyber security experience.
  • CISSP or equivalent security certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development of cyber security standards.
  • Conducts ongoing compliance assessments.
  • Develops and implements risk mitigation plans.

Skills

Knowledge of security architecture and cybersecurity standards
Knowledge of antivirus and firewall configuration
Knowledge of public key infrastructure
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to supervise junior staff

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
