Inpho is seeking a Senior/Principal Custom IC Layout Engineer to design and implement industry-leading laser/EAM drivers and TIAs in SiGe and InP. You will own complex layout blocks from schematic through tapeout, optimize layouts for speed, area, and noise, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-growing photonics scale-up.

The role requires 7+ years in CMOS/BiCMOS/SiGe, strong Cadence/Known tools, and collaboration with circuit, foundry, and packaging teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
• 7+ years of CMOS/BiCMOS/SiGe process technology expertise, with direct experience in high-speed or RF variants.
• Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso or Keysight ADS layout (at least one required; both preferred), plus Calibre, Assura, and PVS for verification and extraction sign-off.
• Demonstrated top-level floorplanning experience on multi-block or multi-die designs.
• Hands-on ESD layout design experience.
• Experience leading layout efforts across distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills and independent work style.

Responsabilidades

• Own and execute complex custom IC layout blocks from schematic through tapeout.
• Translate schematic and design specs into optimized physical layouts.
• Perform floorplanning, placement, routing, shielding, and layout optimization.
• Apply advanced layout techniques including centroid structures and symmetry.
• Collaborate with circuit designers to optimize performance and reliability.
• Run DRC, LVS, ERC, antenna, density, and other verification checks.
• Analyze parasitics and assist with post-layout simulation.
• Coordinate with design, CAD, process, and foundry teams; drive layout quality and productivity.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth.
