The Senior Cost Accountant plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency and financial planning by analyzing production costs, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic decision-making. This role collaborates closely with plant operations, finance, procurement and supply chain to ensure accurate costing and inventory control.

Location: Wheatley Ontario

Qualifications
  • Post secondary education in accounting, finance or similar field of study
  • 3 years’ of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
  • A professional accounting designation
  • Proficient with ERP systems (JD Edwards/Oracle a plus)
  • Advanced in Excel with the ability to develop reports and analyze data to provide strong recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally
Responsibilities
