About the Opportunity

The Philanthropic Leadership Group (PLG) is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Senior Coordinator to deliver high-level project management, administrative support, and stakeholder engagement for our Annual Campaign and Women’s Philanthropy initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Annual Campaign, PLG, the Senior Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting fundraising professionals and volunteer leadership, enhancing donor stewardship processes, and ensuring operational excellence across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Associate Vice President, PLG, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and handling sensitive donor inquiries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Coordinate and support volunteer and professional fundraising teams (within PLG), ensuring they have the tools and information needed for success.
  • Prepare weekly updates and tailored support to campaign chairs to keep them informed and equipped to lead fundraising efforts.
  • Lead cross-departmental project management, ensuring clear deliverables, strong communication, and on-time completion.
  • Represent PLG as a front-line ambassador, delivering exceptional customer service to donors, lay leaders, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Manage donor and prospect data in Salesforce and other systems, generating reports and insights to support campaign strategy.

Skills and Competencies
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience creating systems and general administrative management
  • Passionate advocate and visible champion of UJA’s mission, values, and goals, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose.
  • Advanced technical skills to support use of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work independently to meet timelines and priorities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong organization skills and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, handling many responsibilities at the same time
  • Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook) and an aptitude to learn new software and database programs
  • Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work some nights and/or weekends
  • Experience in Salesforce (or another CRM) considered an asset, but not required.
