MatchBox Consulting Group seeks a Senior Contract Professional for procurement and contract management to support a major BC utility client. This fully remote role emphasizes contract strategy, procurement, and post-award management across goods, services, and install contracts.

The role requires 12+ years in contract management, strong negotiation and stakeholder skills, and experience guiding cross-functional teams. BC-focused, remote work with long-term contract opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of contract management experience, including complex procurement or infrastructure contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing contract strategies to support project planning.
• Experience managing active contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract strategy advice and support during project planning and procurement activities.
• Manage complex procurement contracts, including supply, supply-and-install, and services agreements.
• Monitor contract performance, supplier obligations, deliverables, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Identify and resolve contractual issues, commercial risks, and potential liabilities.
• Support contract administration, performance reporting, financial tracking, and budget management.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on contract terms, procurement practices, and commercial risk mitigation.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and support the successful delivery of projects and ongoing operations.
