Overview

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant SAP BTP Consultant

This position requires a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario / Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in SAP BTP, including 2 years' experience in full-life cycle implementation project.
• The consultant must have a strong working experience and core knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, ABAP, CDS, and OData services.
• Develop custom applications using SAP BTP platform with emphasis on Core Data Services (CDS) and OData services.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA, ABAP, CDS, and OData; experience with SAP HANA modeling, SQL, and code optimization/ performance tuning.
• Thorough understanding of various Interfaces mechanisms such as BAPI, IDOC and Flat file Interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server).
• Experience in working on enhancements across BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots.
• Proficiency in areas like Data Dictionary and Performance Tuning.
• Expertise in OO ABAP programming.
• Expertise in In-line coding style and AMDP in HANA ABAP.
• Performance Optimization techniques in SAP HANA.
• Work with Functional SMEs to understand the requirements and develop technical specifications document detailing out the technical requirements.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $89,004 to $103,042
