Job summary

Infosys Limited in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a senior SAP/ABAP architect to lead complex ERP customization and integration initiatives. You will design solutions, guide data migrations, and ensure high performance and security across SAP environments.

The ideal candidate has deep ABAP/HANA experience, strong architecture skills, and a track record of delivering large-scale utilities or enterprise transformations in North America.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Canada or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience can substitute for education.
• At least 4 years of information technology experience.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship is welcome; no immigration sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications.
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on business analysis.
• Design and implement advanced customizations and develop critical software with the development team.
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect ERP with external applications and lead data migration strategies.
• Implement performance optimization strategies focusing on scalability, reliability, and user experience while leading compliance initiatives.
• Develop detailed documentation for ERP customizations and lead training workshops for various user groups.

Required qualifications:

Required skills:

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis
• Design and implement advanced customizations basis ERP platform's capabilities and limitations and develop critical software applications in collaboration with the development team
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives throughs audits, to uphold security protocols and industry standards
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups, to ensure effective knowledge transfer

Core SAP & Architecture Skills

• SAP experience with strong focus on ABAP architecture & development
• S/4HANA programs (implementation or transformation)
• Proven experience as Lead Architect / Technical Architect

Modern ABAP Technologies

• Deep hands-on expertise in:
• o RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• o CDS Views (Advanced modeling, annotations)
• o AMDP / HANA SQL optimization
• o OData service design & API architecture

Strong command of:

• o Object-Oriented ABAP
• o ABAP on HANA best practices

Integration Expertise

• Deep experience with:
• o SAP CPI / PI-PO
• o Mulesoft
• o API-led integrations
• o Event-driven architecture (preferred)

Your contribution to the team:

• Expertise in ERP systems, architecture, and advanced customization techniques
• Ability to design complex integration solutions and guide large-scale data migrations
• Proactive problem-solving to streamline complex requirements

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in large Utilities transformation programs (North America preferred)
• Exposure to:
• o SAP BTP (Extension Suite, CAP, Integration Suite)
• o Embedded Analytics & reporting (CDS-based)
• Experience driving Clean Core and upgrade-safe extensibility
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in utilities sector

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be: Ontario- $ 92740 to $ 105007
