Job summary

EY's Technology Solutions Delivery practice in Canada seeks an experienced Oracle Cloud Project Management Consultant to design, implement and optimize Oracle Project Management Cloud solutions for clients.

You will lead workshops, coordinate cross-functional teams, and guide go-live activities with governance aligned to IT strategy. The role requires 2+ full life-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations and a degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience with Oracle Applications.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Oracle Cloud Project Management Cloud (PMO/PM/Costing/Billing).
• Minimum of 2 years in a functional advisory or consulting role on Oracle Cloud transformation projects.
• Minimum of 2 full life-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (minimum 6 years’ work experience) or 12 years with Associate’s degree.

• Facilitates design workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs and propose robust design.
• Contribute to large-scale global work streams involving Oracle Project Management Cloud.
• Lead teams to design, set up, test, and deploy Oracle Project Management solutions.
• Guide data model conversions and advise on conversion strategies.
• Lead testing cycles and cutover activities for go-live readiness.
• Plan tasks and report progress across work streams.
• Demonstrate end-to-end solutions to clients during Oracle demonstrations.

EY's Technology Solutions Delivery practice assists our national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering, and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the Oracle's cloud applications and technology space. Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology Services within the COE supports our area offices by providing resources that can design, configure, and implement Oracle Cloud Application Solutions. This group advises clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business. Our focus will be on helping our clients to achieve following key benefits:

Your Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates design workshops with business stakeholders to understand business requirements; demonstrates understanding of business needs and recommend robust design.
• Contribute to large-scale, global work streams requiring cross workstream knowledge of Oracle Project Management Cloud.
• Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create a stand-out Projects solution offering powered by Oracle Project Management Cloud.
• Lead teams to design, set-up, test, and deploy Oracle Project Management solutions and ensure that all the pieces work together in an integrated environment.
• Understand Oracle Cloud Project Management data model conversions and advise business teams on conversion strategies and leading practices.
• Guide and lead the testing cycles teams as well as perform cutover activities as required for go-live preparation.
• Plan and organize tasks and report progress on the track/deliverables.
• Demonstrate an end-to-end solution to the client during hands on Oracle demonstrations

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum of 3 years experience working with Oracle Applications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Project Management Cloud (Project Financial Management: Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Control, Project Billing, and Enterprise Contracts for Project Billing, Project Execution Management: Project Management, Project Resource Management, Task Management).
• Minimum of 2 year's experience in a functional advisory or consulting role on Oracle Cloud transformation Project.
• Minimum of 2 full life-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (minimum 6 years’ work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent (minimum 12-year working experience).

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Team with client business and technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solutions
• Demonstrate ability to implement software.
• Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.
• Interact and communicate effectively with finance, projects, supply chain, human resources and technology senior and middle management executives as well as end user and business subject matter experts

Ideally, you'll also have

• Degree in Business, or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)
• Certifications in Oracle Applications
• Domain Experience
• Process Knowledge
