Job summary

EY Canada seeks a Senior Consultant for Oracle Cloud Financials based in Toronto to lead complex ERP initiatives across client engagements. You’ll manage project phases from requirements through rollout and contribute to business development while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials experience, strong analytical skills, and ability to travel 75%+. EY offers a comprehensive benefits program in a Toronto market.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of ERP implementation experience or finance/business background with Oracle Financials exposure.
• Oracle Fusion certification with experience in at least three Oracle Financial Applications.
• 5+ years of business and industry experience related to Oracle Cloud apps; project module knowledge is a plus.

The opportunity

We are seeking a senior Consultant – Oracle Cloud Financials to join EY Canada Oracle Practice. EY's Technology Solutions Delivery practice assists our national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the Oracle’s cloud applications and technology space. Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology Services within the COE supports our area offices by providing resources that can design, configure and implement Oracle Cloud Application Solutions. This group advises clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business. Our focus will be on helping our clients to achieve following key benefits:

• An optimal applications portfolio and governance structure that aligns with IT strategy and business architecture.
• Improvement in application performance driving higher customer (internal and external) satisfaction.
• Cost reduction and better investment decisions for applications infrastructure and services

Your key responsibilities

This position will support consulting by managing project teams through agreed upon phases of the ERP project governance, requirements definition, technology risk analysis, customization, testing, implementation, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle. They will also provide business development assistance.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience working with an ERP system in a software configuration implementation role; or finance/accounting businessperson with experience as an Oracle financials super user
• Oracle Fusion certification, combined with a proven track record in system implementation or super user for three or more of the following Oracle Financial Applications: General Ledger, Payables,Payments, Expenses, Receivables, Collections, Revenue Management, Taxes, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects Costing and/or Billing, Accounting Hub, Treasury, Property Manager, Lease Management or Procurement.
• 5 years or more of relevant business and industry experience related to above Oracle Cloud applications, knowledge of Project Module is nice to have.
• Preferable to have 2 or more full lifecycle implementations in any of the above
• Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and developing solutions
• Familiarity with Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills
• Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues
• The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel 75+% of a work schedule
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Degree in Business, or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)
• Certifications in Oracle Applications
• Accounting Knowledge

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

• Vancouver & Toronto : $90,000 to $130,000
• Victoria : $80,000 to $120,000
