Job summary

KPMG International in Canada is seeking experienced EPM professionals with strong Anaplan, OneStream, or Oracle backgrounds to lead implementation and governance across finance transformation initiatives.

You will guide scoping, workshops, design, and deployment while mentoring consultants and collaborating with senior client stakeholders to deliver scalable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of super-user experience with Anaplan, OneStream or Oracle.
• 2+ years implementation experience with Anaplan, OneStream or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Participate and lead scoping, implementation, and deployment projects.
• Conduct client workshops, understand, and analyze business requirements, propose recommendations, and prepare solution blueprint.
• Plan, architect, design, configure and test models and integrations.
• Design and develop custom reports and dashboards.
• Assist with testing configuration, provide knowledge transfer to clients and develop documentation as applicable.
• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to senior level client stakeholders as SME in EPM.
• Support proposals, product demos, business development activities and marketing events.
• Develop and foster network within KPMG advisory practice and with Anaplan, OneStream and Oracle partners.

Our EPM Practice, as one of the key pillars of Finance and Digital Transformation is looking for Anaplan, OneStream and Oracle experienced professionals to join our talented team in Canada. Our team’s experience have been helping Finance organizations transcend finance’s role as a record-keeper and become performance and enterprise-focused, or true business partners. We are trusted advisors and leaders in budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and analytics with a particular focus on implementing technology solutions to enable these processes.

What you will do

• Participate and lead scoping, implementation, and deployment projects.
• Conduct client workshops, understand, and analyze business requirements, propose recommendations, and prepare solution blueprint.

• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to senior level client stakeholders and be seen as a subject matter expert.
• Support the development of proposals, product demos, contribute to business development activities and support internal and external marketing events.
• Proactively engage in learning and development activities to keep up with latest product features and capabilities, including broad integrated business planning industry leading practices.
• Manage, mentor, and train Consultants and Senior Consultants within theEPM Practice.
• Develop and foster network within KPMG advisory practice and with Anaplan, OneStream and Oracle partners.

What you bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology. Post graduate degrees and professional designation is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of super-user experience and 2+ years implementation experience with Anaplan, OneStream or Oracle.
• Experience with SQL language is a plus.
• Experience working in a client facing role across a variety of industries and businesses.
• Strong mix of business and functional knowledge related to budgeting and planning processes with a proven ability to communicate business requirements and understand the implications on the functional design.
• Work closely in a collaborative team environment, lead teams and project deliverables.
• Ability to present and demo product and solutions using MS Visio and or MS PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly articulate, identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements.
• Experience in process reengineering, designing and implementing business performance management applications including budgeting, forecasting, planning, consolidation, and reporting.
• Ability to travel within Canada and the US.

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $102,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
