We are actively seeking a Senior Data Tester for our client. Preference will be for candidates in either Regina or Winnipeg, but remote may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Produce documentation to support testing activities
• Conduct testing to align with client test methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc)
• Use defect tracking and test case management systems to document test cases, record defects and record test case execution results
• Work / communicate directly with clients and discuss prioritizing of testing activities
• Extract testing requirements from functional and business requirements
• Write test plans and test cases
• Create test status reports

Qualifications

• Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst
• Strong data validation experience (excellent SQL skills) is mandatory for this position
• ETL / Data Warehouse testing experience is required for this position
• Python experience is an asset for this position
• Candidates with test automation experience may be given preference for this role
• Azure DevOps and Power BI experience are preferred
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Demonstrated experience having tested complex IT solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to give and receive feedback at all levels
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships in a team oriented environment
