What You Will Do

  1. Design, build, and maintain Azure data services using Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, and Power BI.
  2. Develop and implement ETL processes, Data pipelines, and Data integration solutions.
  3. Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  4. Collaborate with the team to design optimized data models for WAM DATA tools.
  5. Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices are always maintained.
  6. Optimize system performance, ensuring the fastest possible data retrieval and efficient data updates.
  7. Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends.

What You Bring To The Role

  1. Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations and reports using Power BI.
  2. Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models to support business requirements. Data Integration: Integrate Power BI reports into other applications for enhanced business capabilities.
  3. Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization and business intelligence needs.
  4. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
  5. Security: Implement row-level security on data and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
  6. Advanced Calculations: Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to perform advanced calculations on data sets.
  7. Documentation: Document processes and methodologies used in developing Power BI solutions.
  8. Experience: Proven experience in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Business Intelligence.
  9. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, Azure SQL Querying, Data Modeling, Alteryx.
  10. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  11. Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  12. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate are a plus.
  13. Experience: Relevant experience of 5-6 years.
  14. Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
  15. Experience with data visualization and high proficiency in technical writing.
  16. Exposure to Tax Business Domain is an added advantage.
