Job Summary

The on-site Senior Construction Administrator will be responsible for construction administration and bidding of a medium to large size projects through construction. Located on the construction project site in the construction site trailer. Responsible for responding to questions and processing documents as required in construction. Has client contact and authority to direct, control, and monitor all project activities during construction under direction of Senior Construction Administratorspartner.

This position is located in HMC’s Los Angeles, California office. The position requires 3 days in the office and the single work from home Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, team members, consultants, and agencies.
  • Seek clarification on assignments when needed and maintain proactive communication on project status.
  • Utilize HMC equipment, software, and follow established procedures, standards, and protocols.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve conflicts and discrepancies.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with clients, consultants, and government agencies.

  • Collaborate with staff to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to assigned team members.
  • Prepare and deliver colet verbal and written instructions to office support staff, consultants, and vendors.
  • Support construction administration by reviewing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and preparing instruction bulletins.
