About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Underwriter to join our team. This position is critical in supporting our lending operations through thorough loan analysis, diligence review, and transaction management.

As a Senior Commercial Underwriter, you will play a key role in evaluating credit risk, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of financing transactions. The role is well-suited for individuals with a strong commercial underwriting background who thrive in a fast-paced, cyclical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end underwriting process, from diligence collection and review to coordination with legal and funding.
  • Identify and escalate red flags in diligence reports.
  • Manage multiple active files and shifting workloads with efficiency and precision.
  • Conduct analytical reviews of loan applications.
  • Draft documentation including letters of interest and commitment letters.
  • Support legal teams with diligence preparation and review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deal execution.
  • Adapt to cyclical business volumes, balancing high-activity and slower periods effectively.
  • Leverage technology tools and workflows to streamline underwriting tasks.
Qualifications
