Job summary

Aequilibrium is seeking a Senior CMS Solution Architect / Technical Lead to help modernize a Canada-based, multi-site digital experience across several brands. The role is remote with a multi-year contract and requires deep CMS/DXP expertise and hands-on leadership.

You will define the overall CMS architecture, guide migrations from legacy systems, collaborate with UX and design teams, and set standards for security, performance and deployment across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/solution architecture with CMS/DXP focus.
• Led multiple enterprise CMS implementations or re-platforms.
• Experience designing multi-site / multi-brand CMS architectures.
• Strong cloud, CI/CD and security expertise.
• Experience collaborating with UX and content teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the CMS/DXP solution architecture for a multi-site environment.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Define content models, components, templates, and multi-site architecture.
• Guide CMS configuration, minimize customizations.
• Plan migration of large content estates from legacy CMS.
• Define integration patterns with identity, analytics, search and other systems.
• Lead technical design reviews and set development standards.
• Guide full-stack developers and ensure code quality.
• Establish security-by-design across the solution.
• Collaborate with DevOps on cloud, CI/CD, environments.
• Address performance, scalability, monitoring, logging, ops.
• Support documentation and production readiness.
