Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Ethical Hacker to assess web applications and cloud services, emulating real-world attacks using the Mitre Attack Framework. You will identify weaknesses and help prevent data breaches by proactively uncovering vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.

Collaborate with security, engineering, and cloud teams; communicate findings through reports and debriefs with executives. Requires 5–7+ years in cybersecurity with offensive security focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7+ years in cybersecurity (Offensive Security, Red Team preferred).
• Proficient with manual web/cloud penetration testing without using any tools.
• Proficient writing custom attack tools in Python, PHP, Golang and Bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, engineering, cloud and network operations).
• Create reports and communicate findings to technical teams, architects and engineers.
• Create and communicate processes to help remediation goals.
• Present test findings in debrief meetings with C‑Suite or sponsors.
