Job summary

Interior Health is hiring a Term-Specific Full-Time Manager, Clinical Operations at Vernon Jubilee Hospital to oversee General Medicine, Medical Inpatient, and Telemetry services. The role is until September 8, 2027, or return of the incumbent, with a salary range of $118,923 to $148,653 to $170,951 per annum.

You will provide leadership for operations, utilization, risk management, and quality improvement, ensuring patient-centered care and alignment with IH standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
• Minimum of five years recent clinical experience, including two years in a leadership role.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Current registration with the relevant professional college or association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for clinical operations and oversight of the assigned clinical areas.
• Ensures efficient use of fiscal and human resources and monitors budgets and variances.
• Drives quality improvement and risk management initiatives in patient care services.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to plan and deliver effective care.
• Mentors and coaches staff; participates in recruitment, performance evaluations and staff development.
• Represents the department on internal and external committees and contributes to policy development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field

Five years of clinical experience, including two in leadership

Equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Current professional registration preferred
