FinDev Canada is seeking a Senior Associate, Climate for a contract role (18 months) with hybrid work options in Canada. Location flexibility includes Toronto/Ottawa with three in‑office days; Montreal HQ. Salary range typically $74,297–$99,063 CAD plus incentive.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, environmental science, climate policy, sustainable finance, international development, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant practical experience in development finance, sustainable finance, ESG, climate consulting, or related field.
• Knowledge of GHG accounting methodologies and financed emissions methodologies (e.g., PCAF).

Responsibilities

• Translate climate and impact concepts into practical methodologies and guidance for decision‑making and reporting.
• Develop and apply quantitative models to estimate impact outcomes, including GHG emissions reduced, avoided, and sequestered.
• Prepare briefing materials and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
