Job summary
A municipal government is seeking a Senior Clerk in Windsor to manage payroll and budget reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Secondary School diploma, relevant post-secondary education, and be proficient in financial reporting tools. Qualifications
- Must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma plus two years of post-secondary education in Accounting or Financial program.
- Over six months of experience in a computerized accounting office environment.
- Proficient in using the MS Office suite of products, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare payroll for the Traffic Operations Division.
- Generate budget reports and review quarterly variance reports.
- Provide authorization authority for journal entries.
