Job summary

HRS Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Journeyperson Gasfitter — Class A for a full-time, day shift in Mississauga. The role involves reading drawings, diagnosing gas equipment issues, installing and maintaining gas systems on commercial/industrial sites, and coordinating with other trades.

Candidates should hold Class A Gasfitter certification (or equivalent), have strong troubleshooting skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must read drawings and service documents to diagnose and repair gas systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and regulated gas work.
• HVAC/plumbing/mechanical service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, and maintain gas systems and gas-fired equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, service documents, and manuals.
• Diagnose issues and perform safe, accurate repairs.
• Install and test gas piping, venting, regulators, and related components.
• Ensure compliance with gas codes, safety procedures, and site rules.
• Maintain service records and job documentation.
• Assist apprentices or junior technicians as required.
